If your property is already for sale with an Estate Agent you should read the contract that you have signed with them carefully to determine any selling rights that the agent might have over your property. There are a number of different options that you and the agent could have agreed, just because you have already signed with an estate agent does not mean that you cannot sell your property yourself.
The different options or types of contract are:-
- Sole Agency - The Estate Agent that you have already appointed is the only agent with the right to sell your property, you can sell your property yourself with FrankHouse Property Market and not pay the agent a fee provided that the buyer was not found by the agent
- Sole Selling Rights - The Estate Agent that you have appointed is the only person with the right to sell your property, even if you sell the property yourself you will still have to pay the agent a fee.
- Multiple Agency - This means that you can ask as many estate agents as you like to market your property for you, only the agent that sells your property gets paid the fee. You can sell your property yourself with FrankHouse Property Market and not pay any of the agents a fee.
- Ready, willing and able purchasor - If your Estate Agent finds a buyer who is ready, willing and able to buy your property and you then decide not to sell, you will still have to pay the agent a fee. You can sell your property yourself with FrankHouse Property Market and not pay the agent a fee.
